Checking In

I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I'm still around - just not designing much right now.  Around the time the kids went back to school, I got back into my soap-making business, and that made my designing take a back-seat.  Then, my father passed away unexpectedly and that made my desire to design completely gone.  I will still be creating from time to time, and my store at MyMemories remains open - in fact, I'll be having a 50% off sale for the DSD (digital scrapbooking day) weekend coming up!  :)

I don't have anything new in the store at this time, but I will be adding a few things in the next couple weeks - nothing big, just some paper packs I've finished up.

Pixel Scrapper August 2014 Blog Train: Garden Party

The colors for this month's PixelScrapper blog train made me drool.  I had no choice but to work with them!

I mean, how could you not??

First I started working on a mini-kit.  But it kept growing, and unfortunately, I decided I couldn't just give away something so big.  So.. it's now in my store at MyMemories.

And... there's a matching freebie on my Facebook page.  You'll have to click LIKE to get this one.

And finally... the blog train freebie, which is a set of two quickpages made with the items above:

Tiny Light Blue Alphabet Freebie

Note: This was originally published in December of 2013, but the blog has gone wonky and it's now being published with today's date for some reason.  Blogger... mind of it's own!

I made this alphabet waaaaaay back in the spring, thinking it was springy. Then I packaged it up and put it aside for some reason. I just realized that I never published the blog post, so I took a look at it again and I'm thinking it could also be Christmasy, with the pewter backing and the blue glitter. Well, either way, just feel free to download and use it on your layouts. :) The letters really are tiny - they're the size shown on the preview. The tallest is barely an inch in height. Just click to grab it!
